For the first time in half a year, I am actually excited about this project wrapping up. It has been almost 16 months since I last drove the car, so to say that I am ready to get this whole buildup behind me would be an understatement. Chris at Performance Motorsports just finished up the fuel system (very, very trick install), the frame rail modification (very smooth work here I must say), the remainder of the custom piping the car required (Kyle at SGP had already done a quality job of fabricating my intake piping and relocating my air filters), tweaked the wastegate pipes to clear the steering rack, as well as three or four other little trick items that we decided on along the way. In a nut shell, I am very pleased. Kyle has my motor together and waiting, all of the custom work is complete; we have arrived at a point where it is time to drop the motor and start the car. I have spoken with Kyle and will be bringing the car to SGP this Tuesday (would have done it today, but could not get all the logistics worked out). What remains to be done is this: Install remainder of guages, install the oil catch can, hook up the GRID boost controller, and have a set of down pipes built (already have all the flanges). Here is the time-line as I envision it. Kyle will have the car on Tuesday. It would seem that a week and a half should be adequate to wrap up all the little stuff and have the car running. If the car can be picked up on Friday the 1st of November I will spend the weekend breaking the motor in. This should allow us to dyno the car the following Monday. Essentially, two weeks from today for some dyno numbers. I cannot express how excited I am to finally have this project to the point where we now find ourselves. This has been, without exception, the most expensive, stressful, frustating car project upon which I have ever embarked. I certainly hope the results make it all worthwhile. Stay tuned gentlemen! Bryan
